Freedom of Information Requests

Freedom of information Requests (FoIs)

For many years, many who have been inquisitive about WF have issued many FoIs to Government Departments, local authorities and to water companies in order to increase our understanding of this most vexatious "public health  measure".  By and large, we have been successful although lately, the DHSC  has proven to be resistant to some of our reasonable requests.

This page will gradually be populated with brief summaries of our questions and the respondents' replies.  Before the advent of "What Do They Know", most FoI requests were sent my Snail Mail and consequently, it is now proving difficult to identify them all.  Because WDTK stores all requests and replies, our task is made easier because there is little risk that we will lose sight of them.

It is not safe to swallow fluoride.

Three Freedom of Information requests have been made on this topic this Century, in 2014, 2018 and 2022.

We asked the same question: "please provide high quality research - random controlled trials, in particular - demonstrating that it is safe to swallow fluoride".  In all three cases the recipients could not provide the proof.

The links lead to the three requests and replies.

PHE UK 2018 FoI

The oft repeated claim that Water Fluoridation is safe and effective is a spurious claim for which no evidence exists of safety.

We'll be adding FoI requests on WF chronologically from the present day back to when we first started asking them.  This is a long job so please bear with us.
